Yeah, I'd seen that blog entry. Unlike most, it's more helpful to me when Biz and Ev and Jack post blog entries that are longer than shorter. The longer, the more clear and less convoluted.

Yes, it was a much better post than the original. The original contained little useful information in any way.

Well thats a good start I guess, it saves the #followfriday and other such recommendations, but I think we still have a long way to go to get twitter users happy again.

Thanks for the reply. It's not clear to me what their long term fix will be. Hopefully including options will allow some freedom of choice. Me? I liked it the way it was.

If it is not broke do not fix it! This is not always a true statement, always room for improvement, but this change of @ not a good one I think.

Holy cow! My off-line life has kept me away from Twitter for a few days and then I read this! I liked when they changed the @ to "mentions" showing up in my @Replies sidebar - I hope they keep it that way!

Have missed you, here and at Twitter. Darned real life *grin*
