  • I use them on those days when I have crap letters and I'm just plain stuck.
  • I don't understand why it tells me certain REAL words are not in dictionary, yet other words it accepts are nonsense words. I am a school teacher, I teach reading and spelling, yet I can not score points! Please explain what I am doing wrong?
  • To answer you kaabbott, I'm providing a quote from the game's help.

    The Scramble Dictionary
Scramble uses the Tournament Word List (TWL) Scrabble dictionary. The
TWL Scrabble Dictionary is used in tournament Scrabble in the USA,
Canada, Thailand and Israel. It is based on the Official Scrabble
Players Dictionary with small modifications to make it more suitable
    for tournament play.

What that means unfortunately is a goodly portion of the English
language, as used in the United States, is not available. It also
means that uncommon or European English words are included.

Good reading about the TWL can be found here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tournament_Word_List

I hope this eases the pain a bit. Believe me, it's frustrating for me
    as well at times.

Thanks for stopping by. You are welcome any time.
  • I would like to find a simple way to get to the actual Scramble game, so I can play; also Wordscraper. I click on something, and it doesn't give me what it promises. That's frustrating!
